I work from a flexible approach rooted in evidence-based theory with the belief that individuals have different experiences and unique counselling needs. Not only do my clients have different needs as individuals, but they also have different goals and different experiences of growth. Each individual’s needs and goals are important to me, and I will come alongside each of my clients to support and help them to create a path forward.
I specialize and have specific interest in helping children and families succeed in their home, school and social settings. Because the family unit largely impacts how children learn to cope, I work to help parents create systems that build a strong emotional bond, build the child’s emotional intelligence, and ensure these systems work well within the current family system.
I believe in the value of relationship, and my clients experience me to be caring and understanding.
